Corey–Itsuno reduction, known as the Corey–Bakshi–Shibata (CBS) reduction, is a chemical reaction in which ketone is enantioselectively reduced to produce the chiral, non racemic alcohol. S- Oxazaborolidine reagent which mediate enatioselective reduction of ketones to chiral R- alcohol in quantitative yield.
