Use Case:
As intermediate for one-pot synthesis of ethyl phosphonic dichloride , ethylphosphonic acid , Dichloro ethyl phosphine and can be employeed as well as catalysts for various reactions e.g. Suzuki-Miyaura cross-coupling
Very stable compound in air atmosphere.
It does not degrade readily when left for several hour on air. Reacts violently with H2O and Alcohols e.g. w/ Ethyl alcohol to form Diethyl ethylphosphonate and H2O to form ethyl phosphonic dichloride.
Apperance: White to pale yellow powder.
Solubility : highly soluble in DCM or Chloroform etc...
